Grand National Lodge of Croatia – GNLC has a history that starts from Italy.

The first Brethren of our Obedience were initiated in Trieste in 2005, in the Lodge EXCALIBUR under the auspices of the Grand Lodge of Italy – GRAN LOGGIA d’ITALIA degli A:.L:.A:.M:., Obbedienza di Piazza del Gesu – Palazzo Vitelleschi, Rome.

This marked the realization of a strategic plan to open Lodges in the four largest Croatian cities. Activities continue with the selection and invitation of new members in all Lodges. On February 14, 2014, the Grand National Lodge of Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons of Croatia – “Grand National Lodge of Croatia” (GNLC) was established. Its headquarters are in Rijeka.

GNLC currently has multiple Symbolic Lodges, with a constant tendency to increase the number of Brothers and Sisters. Works on the first Apprentice Degree are regularly held every two weeks. A rich activity of writing Architectural Tablets – Essays is being developed. There are plans to establish a publishing company that would promote the philosophy of Freemasonry, including esoterica.
